Spring is in full swing around our house. We are involved in soccer, softball, and baseball. Carlos is coaching Alex's team once again this spring. I'm still not sure how much Alex is enjoying the actual physical part of the game, but he does enjoy the social aspect of it. Here he is visiting with Nate, who played on his team the year prior. One thing I can say about Alex is that he never goes anywhere without making friend. Reminds me of someone else I know =)
Alex taking the ball to goal. He had a goal two weekends ago, of course it was a weekend that I was in Murfreesboro with Marisa for her games, so I missed it. When he really wants to play and be aggressive he can, but those moments are far and few between it seems lately.
Marisa's travel team has already played in 3 tournaments this spring. We have visited White House, Murfreesboro, and Hendersonville. The pictures below are from 2 weekends ago in Murfreesboro. Her team played so well. They played in the semi-finals on Sunday and the game went to overtime and finally a shoot out.
They won that game and went onto the finals to play one of our big rivals, TNFC. This game also went into both overtimes and a shoot out. Too bad this time the end result was not the same, they lost by one goal. Here they are at the begining of the game line up with the officials.

This weekend, Alex has a game and Marisa just has some local friendly games. Her last tournament for the spring will be the Brentwood tournament. Somehow this spring, we lucked out and didn't have to do any official traveling. At first, we were a bit bummed, but when I look back on it now, it was nice to be able to save a little money.
